I don't know, their music just has such undeniable naive charm to it... I guess it's just something you love or hate. I mean, it just has this childish spirit that makes it so endearing...

One of the reasons I like Teenage Jesus & the Jerks is cause they took the sloppy noise approach of the Shaggs and structured it a bit better.
If you like the Shaggs you'll probably dig early Half Japanese.
