Hah, I'd say it was an above-average album for it's time. 7/10, maybe 8/10. Certainly doesn't deserve the crap that gets piled on it, just for being part of Green Day's discography.

I suppose i am a bit late to join this, but i never understood what made any Greenday albums popular.

Anyway, one album i don't understand is Elvenking's "The Scythe". It's not bad, i just don't think it should be their most popular album, when compared to some of their other works (Heathenreel and The Winter Wake blow it away if you ask me).

I like Nirvana, but I don't really understand the fuss about Nevermind. Is it just because of Smells Like Teen Spirit?

It was the right album at the right time. Time has not been kind to Nevermind IMO and I much prefer the bands that influenced the album.
