I said he was influenced by them not sounded like them but if you look at the make up of a Nirvana song then it is simple catchy chords delivered with a beefy production (Heavy snares and bass as high as the guitar in the mix) which was what big Black were all about. So I can definitely see an influence there personally. If you cannot then that's fair enough. That's the beauty of music. Everyone can get something different out of it.
