The Pet Shop Boys had some great pop/dance tunes back in the day. Synths usually grate on me, but when the song is good (Suburbia, What Did I Do To Deserve This?, Domino Dancing), it doesn't matter. Still a major guilty pleasure though.
And even though I enjoy Van Morrison's "Into The Music," I can't help but see it as a guilty pleasure. Most of Van's music sounds like Phil Collins for Dylan fans.

For one, Red Hot Chili Peppers. I pretty much grew up with this band and I still like them a lot, but a lot of people I know seem to hate them.
Also Jason Mraz. One of the few pop singers of the recent years that I like. (Though "The Remedy" has been ruined for me due to overplaying) |

For some reason I love these guys me and my friend used to get drunk and do like this whole choreographed thing to Motorcycle Drive By and that song still reminds me of 1997-1998 so much that I almost tear up when I hear it...I saw them live though and was not impressed.

I thought they put on a pretty decent live show when I saw them, they were fun, not spectacular, but a whole lot of fun. |
