I can't say i've ever listened to anything before the 50's sadly. I plan to change this though, i want to get into some more blues artists.

i like alot of early jazz and big band but 50's rock started the greatest trend in music ever!!! so yeah rock is king! but a section about jazz and early 20th century music would be kool... cept itd prolly be more like a history class for most people.

I'm not that familiar with anything pre-1950s. I've listened to some old jazz but I'm into most rock.

Rainard, why are we skipping a whole decade in our classification of rock (50's)? Hmmm?

I prefer rock but sometimes when I'm at work I'll listen to the big band radio station and oldies from the 50's and such. It is feelgood music and it makes for a better mood at work. I like all of it!
