I've been getting more into American bands lately, but thats probably because I live in the US now and have way more exposure to American music.... and to my suprise, its every bit as excellent as the UK and Aussie bands I also love...

This thread's been going on for so long that I can't remember if this has been said before, but I think if we're talking about it in terms of ratios, Jamaica wins hands down. For a country with less people in it than some of the cities in the US and UK they sure as hell have produced a lot of great musicians.
