personally I think when you're trying to get into the earlier hip-hop it's better to follow it from their first album to most current. follow it like a story.

Space Chimp's Cup is pretty good psychedelic noise rock a lot like Lightning Bolt. Their latest release, Thriller, might be worth checking out, but it sounds very generic, slow, and boring to me.
And to the person asking about longboarding music, do you like ambient drone stuff? That's without a doubt my favorite thing to listen to when I skate somewhere. I think Sun Araw is one of the most accessible in the ambient drone type stuff, and it's a bit trippy which holds interest. |
