While I'm here Frownland do you use found sounds in your music and what do you use to record them? Tape recorder?

I have all this stuff at my work that would sound great banged together

Particularly massive wind chime display

Cell phone. If it's windy, wrap it in a shirt or something.

I'm thinking I want to do it live now I'll hang wind chimes from my ceiling and have a fan set up with a foot pedal to get them ringing when I want

I've got a snare rigged so that I can play it with my foot too.

My plan is for my music to be self sufficient but then I'll bring in collaborators avoiding the "band" thing which I'm bored of, plus I don't have to consider anyone else's **** opinion

I don't care what type of music you like, you are missing something if this doesn't pinch a few nerves.

IMO of course. If you can't do it, don't simply dismiss it as an excuse.
