Ok recently I have been really enjoying these dark hypnotic songs like:

Archive - Again
Porcupine Tree - Dark Matter
Radiohead - Motion Picture Soundtrack
Radiohead - Exit Music (for a film)
Radiohead - How to Disapear Completely
Sonic Youth - Providence
and pritty much everything from Nick Drakes Pink Moon

I hope that will help pinoint an artist better than my previous requests.

I was listening to Fantomas and Meshuggah last night and I realized how much I wealth there is in experimental metal.

Any suggestions?

Have you heard Akphaezya? also try some Voivod and Celtic Frost's 'Into The Pandemonium'

Maudlin Of the Well are awesome too.

Arcturus might interest you. Not exactly similar to Fantomas or Meshuggah, but anyways definitely worth listening to!
'La masquerade infernale' is a bit weirder, but 'The Sham Mirrors' might be better to start with. And there's absolutely no black metal elements in both. I recently upped an album in this thread if you are interested.

'Omnio' by In the Woods... is also quite interesting. Let me know if you can't find it.

Maudlin of the well/Kayo Dot are also good choices.

Already have Celtic Frost and Voivod. I've heard Akphaezya somewhere down the line but I don't remember enjoying them. Maudlin of the Well I have not yet heard, will check out.

Hey.

I'm looking for some new music. I'll listen to anything as long as it isn't along the lines of:
Tokyo Hotel
Metro Station
Fall Out Boy
Panic at the Disco
Soulja Boy
Lil Wayne
Brokencyde

Anyone? Thanks.

Reading is always a good skill.

I'd suggest you just browse the forums if you're looking for new music in general. People here are friendly and very informative.

What's one of The Rolling Stones best studio albums? I only own the greatest hits, I love it though.
