Seconded.

^Why I have trouble listening to 99% of metal. Because I'll be listening and some one will say "Listen to how ridiculous this guitar solo is, such and such is so talented."

10? That's a lot. In short, I'll say one Hikari Utada song (Simple and Clean) and those old 8-Bit NES tunes. So catchy.

As much as i dislike the "metalheads" he's referring to, this is just a ridiculous reason not to listen to the genre. Whose this "Some one" you are referring to?! A couple of ppl on the interwebz?!
I listen to a good deal of "Indie" bands myself and I'm least bothered by what "pitchfork" or whatever thinks about them. Heck, i had no idea what pitchfork was till i came to this site(I still haven't visited that site more than twice). Point is, why should some metalhead who brags about his band even have an impact on you?

If you don't like the sound, then, well yeah, fair enough. I don't oppose ppl's taste in music
