Default Whiny little punk bands today

Is it just me or are these Good Charlotte type of bands pissing anyone off as much as me. They just sing about how they didnt want to go to college and all that stupid **** about people making rumors about them, honestly. Am I supposed to go "Wow, how powerful you can say such meaningful things and comment on society like that with your boring, dull, and lack full of energy playing."

Another thing while im ranting. What is with these music videos now. I remember when music videos used to be more of an artistic expression. Today its just filled with the members of these ******* bands trying to promote their single so they give a video a very, very simple storyline and put their big stench ridden video on mtv.

meh, It doesn't bother me in the least. nobody's forcing you to listen to the music or watch the videos, so it's not hurting you in any way. it's just not that big a deal.

Default it bothers me

Ill tell you why it bothers me so much. Good bands out there are being pushed down and getting the recognition they need to get. MTV could be finding new bands that are different and interesting and put them up on their network. MTV almost acts as if music on their network is something else they also do and not of importance.

its just you. making a complaint like that is more overdone than the brand of music youre complaining about.

thank you for pointing that out. and who the hell cares if a band you like is on mtv or not, as long as their music is still accesible to you, it doesn't affect you at all that these "whiny little punk bands" are gaining popularity.

Do New Found Glory count as one of these? I get confused, because some bands seem to be ok one week, then the next week they've sold out because someone saw their guitarist buying a car or something.

The only problom I have is every rock station plays punk. Punk is punk, not rock. I can't get away from it! That's another problom.
