I've been relistening to all my Cursive albums, especially The Ugly Organ. I'm going to marry Tim Kasher.

I've been dragging out some of my old 80's metal albums for a giggle (and the odd gem). Also this:

Future Foe Scenarios and Rusted Wheel are such good tracks.

Tis' a good album. Underrated if I do say so myself.

I've totally forgotten about Cursive and you just inspired me to rediscover them!

They really are amazing. I just wish they were more consistent with their sound; if everything was in the same style as The Ugly Organ I would die happy.

I think I pretty much agree with you. Definitely the one album by them that I will continue to love... so many favourite tracks on it.

I have been rediscovering a rather oddball band from the 80's called Pineapples From The Dawn Of Time. I found out that they had re-released their one and only album Shocker on CD this year so I went out and spent the dollars today. An odd satire of 60's psychedlia that is good fun to listen to occasionally.

And most other Zappa albums tbh, I often play and play and play them, I never actually get sick of Zappa, I just tend to start wanting to play something different. And so I do my little cycle, Zappa inspires prog, prog inspires some heavier rock, that inspires black metal, and black metal in turn inspires some more zappa.
