Are you satisfied with this generation (edit* 2000's) of music when comparing it to past decades? Its a simple question

Depends on how you define "this generation." But assuming it means anything like the 00s, the last decade or since 1990, then yes.

Every single decade has merit. You just have to dig deep.

how can you not be? Music has always been good, music will always be good.

I'm going to second this and add that not only does this decade have plenty of quality music but music is more accessible than ever which I think is pretty damn cool.

Yes, for every terrible mainstream bands there are tens of very good obscure/fringe bands that are making incredibly solid albums. Every decade has had a slew of dreadful music.
