This I-Doser stuff is being marketed cleverly and aimed at young people who're interested in drugs, when in reality, it's just one single, simple phenomenon. Binaural Beats.

I can't say that the guys running I-Doser aren't smart though. All they have to do is create the Binaural tone (or download it from the many free sources all over the internet) and add some sounds that cater to the mood they're selling, and voila... Product sold.

But, it could be just me and my attitude.
If I were a chemist, I wouldn't pay for ecstasy either.

Freebase Dali - I know it's just Binaural Beats and they're easy to make.. but also know that since it's targeted towards young kids who like drugs, none of them pay for it. I'm not interested in drugs even remotely and haven't even used any of the "drug" ones yet. But I too haven't paid for it just for that reason you mentioned. They're merely marketing something that's already on the market for free and charging for it.

But they do a damn good job making them

I listened to the "Marijuana" one not long ago. Found it online for free from some site. Followed the long, intensive list of instructions that you must absolutely follow to the T in order for it to work..... hmm..

Anyway, it was a binaural beat from 2 sine waves at their respective settings, and either white noise or pink noise. That's it. You could set that up in around 5 minutes with a simple synthesizer downloaded from KVR.
I was um, open minded about it, but the most I got was an itch on my foot for about 2 seconds that, decidedly, was unrelated.

I read about the warning that "some people may be immune". Well, heh, that's a convenient disclaimer...
I don't want to go into placebo related discussion in this post, but put 2 and 2 together and it's pretty easy to figure out.

But yea, shady marketing schemes aside, if you want to believe you're high, at least don't pay for it unless you're buying something that actually, chemically, physically, makes you high.

Ditto.

I'm not arguing against the validity of brainwave entrainment. I'm just saying that if you're (generally speaking) comparing it to the effect of drugs, you're retarded.
People are taking this binaural effect and manipulating it, wrongly comparing it to drugs, and then getting people to pay for it.

That's also retarded.

So yea, I'm calling I-Doser retarded. Because when you really look at it, that's exactly what I-Doser is.
This has nothing to do with the very interesting and inspiring thing (binaural effect) that I-Doser takes advantage of and screws with while all the smiling kiddies pay for it and allow it to keep happening.

I'm not trying to rag on you, Conan. I'm just saying it's a good idea to analyse things before you jump head first into them and become a diehard supporter/believer.

Last time that happened to a significant extent, we ended up with religion.

Hey that's all that matters right?
I just wonder how you'd react to real drugs though... Hehe. You should bomb 2 X pills along side a geltab and call me in the morning.

I guarantee you it will work for you.

Don't assume I haven't tried them already.
