well, listening to their albums, they were good for what they were, and that is a pop punk band. not revolutionary, but not terrible either.

i'm looking forward to what they have in store

Eh they're very overrated. That doesn't stop Take Off Your Pants and Jacket from being awesomesauce though.

Or better still, define "average" when you are using that term to describe a person...

I'm going to be really annoying again and say that you're wrong. People that despire mainstream just want to be different? I dislike mainstream because it often hurts a band's image.

Blink-182 is so catchy and upbeat and I couldn't see how anyone couldn't like them, I know i'm really not into the whole pop-punk scene and similar bands are mainstream but I really don't have to much of a problem with the main stream, I think people that despise the mainstream just want to be different.

I have mixed feelings about the new song, I have listened to it a couple of times and I feel like they forced two different songs together.

I would love to take them a part and play them separately
