It's like, it's like floating in space while a constant bass riff smacks you in the face. |

Pretty dramatic music. I should introduce this to some of the theater geeks I was in drama with they'd surely appreciate it. Seriously this could be used in a pretty epic musical. That being said I really dont see the hype behind this band. |

Oh, and I'm listening to these guys a lot lately- |

David Gilmour (pink floyd) guests on this album and he utilised 2 members for lyrics and melody lines for The Division Bell. The album is still not available on CD (as far as I know) so I still hold onto the original cassette I have. |

Eh, really digging this album. |

Such a great little pop song. I just love those harmonies that make up the verses! |

Beatles - "Twist and Shout," live in 1965
followed by a song of theirs I'd never heard before ("Baby's in Black") I love seeing all the overwhelmed, hyperventilating, swooning people! |

Pony Face - Stars are Bright

It was the last song on their last album before splitting up and it's literally the best closer you could possibly ask for. crushingly heavy and beautiful at the same time. masterpiece |
Essential late night listening. |
The Contours - "Do you love me" (clip from the movie Dirty Dancing)
One of the people who commented on YouTube wrote: "THAT never happens to me no matter how many watermelons I carry .........." :) So true! |
off to Barcelona tomorrow, so here's something Spanish (sort of)....
|
and as soon as I get back I'm off to see the mighty Fall....
I very much doubt if they'll be playing this song, but it's one of my very favourite Fall tracks.... and this is the song it's based on, from Can's seminal "Tago Mago" album.... Damo Suzuki is also still going strong and playing in Manchester soon (Salford to be precise).... |

I got sent this earlier with much guffawing in the email because they are on a festival bill in a few weeks time I am going to and well; they are quite frankly shit:
I was listening to it but now I am not! |
i taped the entirety of this live performance from tv when I was young one of the best live concerts ever |

I really adore this track. I recommend listening to in bed with all the lights out. |
^ Probably my favourite tune off of one of my new favourite albums. That sample is just epic. |

Listening to all three shows as I prepare to listen to yet another live stream tonight! I'm totally hetero for Trey's guitar tone right now. |

I almost had to do the same just streaming the stuff for the second set of night one! That, for me, would have to be the highlight. Or the "Halley's Comet" > "Runaway Jim" on night two...or even that whole set. Night three was definitely the weak link, but it had moments and was still better than most of their stuff from the past two years, easily. |
If this doesn't make you happy then I doubt you have a soul. |
This may be my favorite track this year. |
I just love the feel of this song...a little twangy, but not too much. It's got a nice bluesy country vibe. The lyrics completely contradict the feel of the music though. :/ |
it's short for "Let Me Lick Your Pussy", in case you wonder |
