Fad Gadget - Life on the Line
The version I'm playing is slightly different, I think there were a few different ones. But anyway I love the song. |
^fine choice sir. I am partial to 'fireside favourite'. I think this song is a send up of Einsturzende Neubauten whose back catalogue i am reviewing, great stuff
|
Yeah that's a great song too, just finished up Under the Flag and put on Gag. I also prefer Fireside Favourite over the other albums.
I've never been able to get into Einsturzende Neubauten, really. Never tried much though, I just always felt like it was too much noise and not enough melody for me. |

Act I, Scene I- The Fall of Troy
The office I'm at has YouTube blocked, so I can't post a video up, but I'm sure most people know who The Fall of Troy are. I'm pretty disappointed by their new album, though. Too bland. |
The best part of that song is the story behind it |
^ Love this song, love this album :yeah: That said, the actual album's probably the weaker of his later efforts - kinda tails off in the second half by my reckoning. |

I've been jamming out to Kings of Leon all day today. |
blast from my past...
I used to love Avenged Sevenfold as a teen, and lately I'm really feeling them again. Been listening to pretty much every song on a list for Avenged Sevenfold on song-list.net. Bat Country still pumps me up as much as it used to... I mean, seriously I had it set to play on my stereo as a wake up call when I was sixteen! That song-list.net site keeps tripping up my mind making me remember songs that I used to listen to non-stop.

Some great Dark Americana courtesy of one of our mods. I usually don't listen to albums twice in the same day but this is an exception. |

EP version though. But this video's kinda cool. Oh how I would have loved to see them back then. |
Haven't listened to Swans in ages. I remember getting this album but only managing to get through the first few tracks, not because I didn't like the album, just that I probably had something else to do at the time. Fantastic stuff, judging by the second listen - one of the ultime doubleyou-tee-eff albums. |

It makes me cry a lil bit inside. Not a particularly great video, I love it though. Lots of Guns N' Roses memories.
|
For some reason this song makes me feel emotional -.-

One of my favourite Emmylou Harris songs from quite possibly my favourite of her albums. Sheer class! |
