Of the small sample of metal I've heard that one's probably one of my favorite metal albums.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

Sounds pretty good, I'll probably listen to the rest of it later.

Obake's a really good sludge band and they're more on the experimental side:

This is really only similar in that they're both tied to sludge, but you may want to give this album a try too:

I have too much music I need to check out as is, no more recs for now. Don't bring Mondo into it either, he'll bury me under mountains of good ****.

what do you think about Sandinista!

I feel like that one would be most outside your comfort zone but it's the ****
Cut the Crap has got some mad tunes on it and is probably a legit good maybe great record, but Jesus that production is far too busy and drowns out the rest of the music at times. I've heard live versions that are much better.

Sandinista is another album I've neglected in the past but been getting into recently and it's definitely got hot fire on it but it's also kinda long I don't know if you heard so it's taking a while to properly digest. Sure is self-indulgent but it's got the tunes to back it up.

And this is one of the most fire catchy tunes on the planet.

It's not often I truly obsess over reputable artists but atm I'd drown Ke$ha in a toilet to finger Joe Strummer's butt.
