Most badass Dream Theater song I've yet heard. If anyone knows one that kicks more ass then I'd like to hear it.

Definitely my favourite no wave band. I especially like Arto Lindsay's guitar style, I've heard it put before as "a bastardized Derek Bailey", which I think is pretty accurate.

The Contortions hands down for me. I used to think DNA were pretentious garbage, then I got kind of used to the oddball rhythms and started to dig them a bit. Still think they're pretentious as all hell though.

This is all the way in.

Back when they were good. Another group of metalheads bites the dust and turns into gothic rock for teenage girls...

Yeah it is damn good. I found that on Woods' facebook page, is L'Orange's other stuff worth checking out?

It's probably been close to a decade since I've even listened to "Heart Shaped Box", so for the first time to be this awesome cover, it feels pretty awesome.

Right on dude, thanks! Been looking to find more music like that. Pretty much Ravi and a few one-off tracks are all I got.

Nothing like a cute girl in a flower dress doing a pretty faithful cover of "Closer"

The Beach Boys' Pet Sounds for the millionth time, but for the first time in stereo! It sounds amazing! Just wish Brian could hear it.

I think if that video was shortened till just after the first chorus it wouldn't take anything away from it.

ICS Vortex of Dimmu Borgir fame, and his excellent doom project that really needs to rise from the grave pretty please

Only had an EP and an LP to their name back in the eighties, but thankfully they've had two albums in the past decade or so and apparently at least the first one is a return to form. Thank you, Jesus.

Frownland 03-29-2014 11:54 AM

Kronos Quartet and Ginsberg is not a combo that I expected, but it works.
