Been on a Grizzly Bear binge the last few days

I just listened to some new pretty damn good group.
Red Man summer. Saw a video of theirs on vimeo, and went to their site.

it took me a couple of listens before I got it. but i'm pumped on it now

Good god, I am a sucker for simple, high energy rock 'n' roll. Doesn't matter if it's Little Richard, The Sonics, or The Clash, if it makes me wanna clap my hands and do embarrassing white boy dances, then I am a very happy man. And the Small Faces debut destroys in that regard.

Final part of Blut Aus Nords '777' trilogy, released a couple of days ago. First impressions so far are very good but I'll be listening a few times before I make my mind up.

Complex music is good, but so were Elvis Costello and the Attractions simple stripped-down pop tunes.
