The Specials - "Little Bitch"

"Too Much Too Young" popped into my head as I was walking back from the bar, so I put it on and just let it play........but now it's bed time. Getting picked up to hit the slopes early in the morn.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

It was refreshing to hear a woman singing about pubic hair and advocating that women be proud of their "birds' nests" rather than shaving them off. I'm glad to see she has some of her underarm hair. I liked the Lego underpants, too.

But TUMOR. Sigh. Even Amanda Palmer is shaving her legs! Her legs are hairless as a baby's behind. I guess I'm just disappointed. She is strong to sing about keeping her pubic hair. But where is the rest of her hair? I start to feel people are kind of...wimpy...and I hate feeling that way about my fellow humans.

Do you know of ANY female musicians who keep all their body hair? If anyone on MB would know such hair trivia, I think it would be you. That's a compliment, too.

Speaking of gender issues and stereotypes, I just got done listening to "A Boy named Sue" by Johnny Cash, which I felt was very funny and fun to hear, since I love story songs and this one has a good story, told well.
