I'm currently in midst of quitting smoking, and today has been a particularly troublesome one. Soft Machine, however, are going some way in assuaging the pangs.

Helene Bøksle. Would you believe these songs are from a video game soundtrack? What a voice!

The Dreaming - Ere The World Crumbles

Nighttime Journey Through The Eiglophian Mountains

The Dreaming Anew - Memories of Cimmeria

Field of the Dead

Richard: Nothing, I just prefer the other....

Barry: BULLCRAP!!!

Rob: How can it be "bullcrap" to state a preference????

Action Figure Party - No Sleep

Action Figure Party is a funky jazz solo project from Greg Kurstin, best known for his role in Geggy Tah.

As beasts go I'd say it's more loud than quiet.

One of my favourite songs off of one of my favourite albums. Before today I hadn't heard this one in practically years. It's kinda like being reunited with an old mate, just one that's gaunt, pale-skinned, a bit moody and all-round creepy.

The Cranes are one of my favourite bands and this track from their Espero 3 track E.P has that classic quiet/loud dynamic that really works. The vocals always put people off though which is kinda expected
