Cody ChesnuTT - The Headphone Masterpiece

Seems like it should be a good album based on this song (which The Roots so successfully used) and strange to hear that it came out in the early noughties.

Well, I was merrily driving my Honda down a main drag in my placid city with my young child to buy new tennis shoes for him, when THIS song came on the air, startling me with its use of the word "****."

I didn't know mainstream radio allowed people to say "****." Obviously I haven't listened to the radio in quite a long time. :/

The song made me curious enough about Nine Inch Nails to listen to more of Trent Reznor's music. So far I feel all his other songs I've heard are crappy ("Wish," "Star****ers," "The Day The World Went Away," "Hurt," "Happiness is Slavery"). However, his lyric, "You let me complicate you," sticks in my mind, not to mention the line, "I want to **** you like an animal." That one's kind of hard to forget.

Nine Inch Nails - "Closer"
The song goes on much, much too long, but it has a pleasant time-tick beat and, best of all, some good, deep grungy low notes at 1:05 during the chorus.

Big Star - "For You"

Ribbons mentioned it and so I listened.
I do like the cello and violin playing.
