Have you heard the original by Indio? It's been a favorite of mine for ages. The Eddie Vedder version is a very faithful cover of it from what I remember so I wouldn't give Vedder too much credit for how great the songs is. Gordon Peterson, the guy who wrote the song, deserves the accolades on that front.

Tool - Parabola, aslong as you listen to Parabol and Parabola as one long song.

And this whenever it was performed live:

It peaks in the middle before dragged right back down just to explode again towards the end. This is not the best example but its off Jeff Buckleys DVD therefore easily available on Youtube. The perfect example is on the Mystery White Boy abum. Mojo Pin on MWB is immaculate.
Wow.....

If the climax of this song doesn't make you want to take out your air guitar then get the **** out of my sight.

I guess its not really a song...its more an instrumental, but "Mogwai Fear Satan" by Mogwai hits absolutely the most amazing climax towards its end...with the slow quiet bits that sound as if they have some sort of flute or wind instrument, then move into the more brutal guitar parts...what an amazing track...

This is an obnious one, but still great. One of the most fun Guitar Hero songs too!

If youre gonna raise up a song over another it better be better than the one before it, which its not. Glosoli>>>better than Untitled 8

You must realize that is just a matter of personal opinion. I can see why people would think Untitled 8 is better, just like I can see why people feel Glosoli is better. You can't definitively say it's not better.
