If good bands are playing it usually doesn't pull out a bunch of 14 year olds. I hate age limit shows that I can't manage to sneak into.

But my big regret is not being able to see Slint play Spiderland.

Hating kids is only part of it.

The biggest problem is that it usually makes the simple act of having a drink more of a hassle. For example, I went to some punk show at the Fireside Bowl in Chicago a couple years ago and because it was all ages you could only drink in the bar, which was a separate room from where the stage was. You literally could not watch the band and have a drink at the same time. It was annoying as hell.

I missed the Elephant 6 roll through because the show was sold out, same thing happened with Have Heart, and Cursive. /wrists.

Yeah, I could see the annoying factors of an all ages show with those kind of cases. Still, as an minor, I still hate the 18+ shows myself. When I get to be 18 I'm sure I'll start hating the all ages shows.

I heard that Slint's reunion shows were nothing special.

Heh. 18+ shows still present the same problems for me. I like 21+ shows.

The great thing is that you only have to deal with being underage for shows for a relatively short period of time, after that you have decades to go to 18+ or 21+ shows whenever you feel like it.

True that. I only got 3 years till I can go to 18+.

Anyway, Lil Wayne canceled here. That's old news though.
