Yes, they all loved the shuttle****s if you know what I mean.

Anyways yes, I gather the elves, dragons, giants, trolls, goblins, the masses with faces twisted and grotesque.

I gather thee, the lonely hermits of our tales, the dogs of war and peace alike, infact, I gather all of the world outside our earth.

I GATHER THEE THE POWERS OF SPACE ITSELF

I also gather the picts and the furry little animals. All shall do battle, and emerge victorious at dawn!

Another thing is that I worked in an a British pub (an American British pub) that played them 24/7. The outcome of my stay of employment there is that I ended up hating The Beatles and started liking Soccer (football, sorry).
The Beatles are like having annoying rich uncle that payed your way through college. Sure you wouldn't be where you are today without him, but you still cringe when he shows up at the family reunion and everyone starts kissing his ass.

That's actually a pretty great analogy.

Working in an American British pub with Beatle music, what a sobering tale, then you do have a valid reason to dislike The Beatles, but I always thought people who hated The Beatles without provocation analogious to someone who hated his (or her) grandmom, poor gramma wrapped in a shaw crocheting blanket, sipping tea, minding her own business, and then there is her little bratty grandchild talking smack about her. Same way with those who hate The Beatles, what did they ever do but show up at Abbey Roads Studio and record a few albums?

It seems a lot of people who say they hate The Beatles also like a great deal of music that's similar to The Beatles. So I think it has a lot to do with their status.

It's easy to say that being the most popular band in the world kinda affects peoples opinions of them.
