The Shins. I don't think they're terribly bad or anything but absolutely bore me.

I tend to hate most modern "indie rock" and "indie folk" not because it's bad per se, I can see why people like it but most of it bores the **** out of me.

For specific bands, I hate Modest Mouse and Journey off the top of my head.

I used to like post-rock, but nowadays I've been growing a massive distaste for it.

Though I'm not a big fan of your method of turning cute furry little animals into robots, or your attempted slaughter of hedgehogs. Not very eco friendly.

This one guy once described Isaac Brocks vocals as that of "A poorly designed robot clone of Captain Beefheart that can only sing in one pitch, off key"

Most hilariously accurate description I've ever heard. I f*cking hate that guys vocals.

That's funny because I completely concur on this one... I've liked a few Shins songs from time to time but always thought of their music as pleasant without being terribly desireable...

A few years ago everyone was creaming their pants about them though...
