When I was younger my entire notion of loud music began and ended with heavy metal. Then, when I was 14, I heard this album. I don't think any album has ever blown my mind the way this one did. It completely redefined how I looked at music and was my gateway drug into the the wonderful world of Wax Trax.

As a kid the hip-hop I knew was people like MC Hammer and Vanilla Ice and as a result I hated hip-hop. Then when I was 15 this album came out and I promptly fell in love with it and did a complete 180 with my attitude toward hip-hop.
