Heard this the other day, didn't see anyone post it and thought it was interesting. Its true that listening to music isn't as social with ipods and such...

I agree... but I kinda woulda like to seen what it was like back then. With the whole hip hop scene it looked kinda neato.

Well I'm old enough that it was going on when I was a little kid. I definitely remember people carrying around boomboxes like that.

I don't really know how much it went on in the 70s. It think boomboxes were more of an 80s thing.
