The guitarist on the right.

Adam Jonathan Dutkiewicz
Band played for: Killswitch Engage (Current)
Date of birth: April 4, 1977.

Biography:

Also known as Adam D, Adam has been the guitarist for the widely known Metalcore band Killswitch Engage. He is 1 of two guitar players in this band. The other guitar player would be Joel Stroetzel. The reason I picked Adam and not Joel is because I try to get lead guitarist not rythm. Anyways, here is a little it of information on this guy. Adam went to college in boston to study his music. He also studied production and engineering. He went to college with his long time friend and partner guitarist Jorl Stroetzel. The college the attended was Berklee College of Music in Boston. While in college Adam D started playing in a band called Aftershock with Joel. Adam and Joel would later join Mike D'Antonio and Jesse Leach to form the metalcore band Killswitch Engage. Adam was Killswitch Engages drummer until the release of the bands second studio album "Alive Or Just Breathing" then he moved on to guitars. He has assumed the role of producer, lead guitar, and backup vocals for the band Killswitch Engage.

The reason I included him on my list is because I really love the work he does with that guitar. Not to mention he is very very talented. He produces music, plays drums, does vocals, and can play the guitar liek a monster. He is truely one very very talented musician.

Alexi "Wildchild" Laiho
Band played for: Children of Bodom (Current)
Date of birth: April 8, 1979

http://www.metalinjection.net/tv/vie...g-with-guitars

Biography:

Alexi Laiho is the current lead guitarist and vocalist for the Melodic-Deathmetal band Children of Bodom. Guitar World magizine has named this guy one of the top 50 fastest shredders. This is a very very great title to hold in my eyes. I think guitarists today are taking the guitar to new levels that have never been seen before. Alexi is one of the best in my eyes. He has been the guitarist for bands like Thy Serpant and Warmen. Alexi is living the high life. Whenever he is not on tour with one of his bands he is at home partying playing video games or drinking. Alexi has been influenced by Ozzy Osbourne and has HATE tattoed on his right hand in homage to Osbourne who has a similar tattoo with the letters O-Z-Z-Y. Many people may not like this man because he has reffered to the band DreamTheater as "Super Lame" and "It's not music;it's a sport."

The reason I put Alexi on my list is because he is one of the worlds fastest shreaders and when he is with Children of Bodom he makes that guitar sound like something you have never heard before.

Synyster Gates
Band played for: Avenged Sevenfold (current)
Date of birth: July 7, 1981

Biography:

This is the guitarist from they wildly popular rock band Avenged Sevenfold. Born Brian Elwin Haner, Jr. he is much better known by his stage name "Synyster Gates" or "Syn" or "Gates". His role in the band would be the lead guitarist and back up vocals. He attended but did not graduate from "The Musicians Institute" in Hollywood, California. Up until he went to the Musicians school he was self-taught using the TV and books. This is suprising because is dad is a guitarist that played with Frank Zappa. One day Brian got a call from The Rev (Another band of A7X) and had gotten told that they wanted him to join Avenged Sevenfold as the lead guitar. He quit going to school for being a producer and continued his career with Avenged Sevenfold.

The reason I put this man on my list is becasue he can play that guitar like no other. Not to mention he is basicaly self-taught.

Cosimo Binetti
Band played for: The Dogma
Date of Birth: Unavailable

I can't really find any information about this guitarist. I have no clue why I can't they seem to be a pretty good band. So i'll tell you about him through what I have heard. The way this guy plays the guitar is amazing. If you want to hear someone play a guitar and make it sound like it is telling a story. Listen to him. He is part of the power metal band The Dogma. When I get more information on him I will tell you where he went to school and how his band was formed. For now just give him a listen if you like.
