That's a shame really, New Zealand has been the origin of a relatively large portion of bands I like.

I went to Roskilde in Denmark last week. Saw the Gorillaz who were phenomenal live. They said it was the best show Roskilde has seen in ten years.
Then the day after that I started going to the Copenhagen Jazz festival. Which is still going on.
This I was really excited about because my cousin (the one that used to drum for the raveonettes) has made it decently big in Denmark and is the guy on the Copenhagen Jazz festival poster.
I'm seeing him drum with his band again today.
So it's been a great time.
Also saw Devendra Banhart live last week as well.
It has been super.

I've been to Rockness, Glastonbury and Wireless so far. I have Field Day, Leeds and potentially End Of The Road to look forward to over the next couple of months.

Argh I know, although I only went for the Sunday and I didn't see a single dance act cos we just stayed at the main stage all day. The Strokes were unbelievably good. Ditto Blondie and Vampire Weekend, infact all the acts I saw that day were sweet.

2manydj's played I think? But they clashed with The Strokes. And they also played at Wireless last weekend, but they clashed with DJ Shadow so I didn't watch them. I seen them at Glastonbury last year though and they were awesome, I love the "hey boy, hey girl, 2manydj's.. here we go!" intro that they have.

Rockness two years back was probably the best weekend of my life, kayleigh. Boys Noize being one of the highlights of that weekend... I'm gutted i've not been back since, hopefully next year though if I've got the money!

I was fully planning on going. Even almost bought tickets. But mates dropped out. My money levels dropped when I booked a holiday. To be honest I wish I never booked my holiday and I'm thinking of having a year of all festivals. Rockness, T, Creamfields. All good festivals here except Creamfields and I'll be more than happy to travel!

yeah I've heard Creamfields is amazing, never saw the lineup this year but last summer it was quality!

I've spent the day getting loads of texts from pals up at T, telling me how steamin they are at 3 in the afternoon. I'm well jealous!

Yeah kayleigh they clashed with The Strokes so there was no way I was gonna see 2manydj's over them cos I've already seen 2manydj's properly before so.

Rockness was an awesome little festival, the location was stunning too. My local festival is Creamfields and I think it's absolutely horrendous, I went in 2008 and it was just full of ****s looking for fights. Shame because the line ups are usually awesome, although this year is pretty sub par.
