Tbh most of the straight edgers i've met have been quite cool. They certainly haven't shoved there views in my face or had a go at me for drinking, i know i'm probably in the minority here though.

I didn't even know the straight edge "movement" had that kind of momentum over there. I thought it was just the odd kid here and there.

Whereabouts are you from matey? And yeah it isn't a huge thing but i know a fair few bands/kids in the english hardcore scene at the mo who would claim to be Straight Edge.

Various locations in Norway here .. not many straight-edgers here that I know of (thankfully).

Back in HS there was a group of 5 or 6 straight edgers that would shove their beliefs down our throats every chance they got. No matter what the conversation topic was, it got turned into "well I don't drink or have sex, I live my life clean." SO annoying.
