You suck, my friend. That is one of my favorite albums...

You managed to insult two of my favorite bands there... I think.

And now, I know I'm gonna piss some people off, but:

Radiohead - OK Computer

I'm only considering albums I bought for this. This was horrible. It may not have been the worst sounding, but I had really high hopes for this after hearing so much about them from friends. I went out and bought this album, excited to get home and hear what is so amazing about Radiohead, and ever since I've been trying to figure out what is so great about them. This takes the cake as the worst mainly because it was such a huge let down; I remember hearing this for the first time better than any other album I bought that sucked.

Man, you guys are lying.

Aeroplane? Blood Mountain? Ok Computer? Nobody's music collection is that damn good.

I mean I have Kid Rock and Evanessence albums, I have a Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute album, I have Foreigner and REO Speedwagon albums on vinyl. I actually downloaded The Shaggs album for crying out loud.

But Rusty Cooley's self titled debut and Symphony X's Divine Wing's of Tragedy, I downloaded those, and I dare anyone to top that.

you seriously haven't listened to enough music if you think OK Computer is the worst thing you've heard.

At Rusty Cooley is something that can be universally agreed upon on this forum, save two or three dumb shredheads.

But OK Computer? Now that's just somebody trying to be different. I know I like to talk trash about indie sacred cows like Nick Drake and Jesus and Mary Chain, but I can't say it's the worst music I've ever heard.

you shouldnt temper your feelings on an album with your expectations for it. take it for what it is.

so true, plenty of people wouldn't be bashing albums if they didn't expect something specific

I've purchased my share of crap over the years. A lot of it I genuinely liked at the time. I must say nothing as compared to this piece of garbage:

I found Green and Maladroit to be okay albums, contrary to popular opinion. I've barely listened to them in recent years though. Naturally, I reaaaally wanted to like this too. It's such a generic, cheese ball of an album it left me rather depressed. This was a band that released two of my favorite albums.

I've lost all interest in Weezer after this album. Although "Pork and Beans" was a catchy single I didn't think it was strong enough to interest me in purchasing or even listening to another full album.

Oh, and for some reason picking Aeroplane Over the Sea, OK Computer, and Blood Mountain as "the worst albums" seems like people are just trying to seem cool by picking highly acclaimed albums.

Yeah, especially when it's something out of their comfort zone, a genre they don't normally listen to and they're just checking it out based on hype. Not saying that's the case here...just sayin'.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.
