I'll comment on this one because the other guy didn't. It's ok, I like the Pixies and The Smiths tracks and that Libertines track is ok. The rest I'm not a huge fan of.

List above me: Arcade Fire, Black Lips, and Guided By Voices=Yes, nothing really wrong with the rest either.

Devendra Banhart- There Was Sun
Broken Social Scene- Sweetest Kill
Dr. Dog- Shadow People
Cage- Lord Have Mercy
Bowerbirds- The Ticonderoga
Say Hi- November Was White, December Was Grey
Midlake- Course Of Nature
Fanfarlo- Ghosts
The Mountain Goats- Snow Crush Killing Song
Andrew Jackson Jihad- Unicron

Man this is a difficult choice, there are 5 songs here that I love.

I've never heard that Matthew Sweet song, but I'd be interesting in checking out some of his stuff. I love The Thorns (the band he was in with Pete Droge and Shawn Mullins). But his was the only name I recognized from your list, which makes me a bit sad (and embarrassed).

Here's mine!
1) The Cure - This is a Lie
2) Ice Cube - We Be Clubbin'
3) Lady Antebellum - Long Gone
4) Live - Mother Earth is a Vicious Crowd
5) Percy Sledge - When a Man Loves a Woman
6) Al Green - Full of Fire
7) Porcupine Tree - Dark Matter
8) The Fall - Reformation
9) The Levellers - Chemically Free
10) The Rolling Stones - You Can't Always Get What You Want
