^^^

Nirvana, Elliott Smith, the Stooges, all very good. I've been meaning to download some Yo La Tengo because my lastfm keeps saying I'd like them, not quite sure where to start yet though. I also want to get more familiar with The Flaming Lips.

Radiohead - Bones
Novos Baianos - Isabel
Either/Orchestra (Ethiopiques Series) - Amlak abét abét
Bauhaus - Nerves
Tom Waits - Midtown
Bob Dylan - The Wicked Messenger
The Avalanches - Pablo's Cruise
Nouvelle Vague - A Forest
Marvin Gaye - Right On
João Gilberto - Da Cor Do Pecado

Start with Fakebook for Yo La Tengo, and for TFL, if you haven't listened to it before, SERIOUSLY consider downloading/buying Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots. Absolutely astounding album.

Good man for having one of the newer Swans numbers in there - the more I think about it, the more I think they've got the album of the year in the bag. Sun City Girls are awesome, the Jesus Lizard I'm not so much into but can appreciate. !!! just annoy me I'm afraid. The rest I've not heard of.

As for my bunch...

10ft Ganja Plant - 100lb Weight
The Ruts - Criminal Mind
Gladys Knight & the Pips - Midnight Train To Georgia
Smog - Rock Bottom Riser
Frank Wilson - Do I Love You (Indeed I Do)
Gomez - In Our Gun
Ophelia's Dream - Quae Dementia
Eek-a-mouse - War Don't Pay
Imogen Heap - 2-1
The Fall - There's a Ghost In My House

^ Immense as I think that draw is, Frank Wilson wins six times a week a twice on a Sunday out of that lot. Just thinking about that song makes me wanna go out and party.

Edit: Haven't heard most of it... can't comment.

1. If 6 was 9 - Jimi Hendrix
2. Burning Bridges - Pink Floyd
3. Presage - Univers Zero
4. Side Car I - Miles Davis
5. Wonderful Wino - Frank Zappa
6. Brazilian Sun - Sun Ra
7. Summer Night - Miles Davis
8. The Edge of Darkness - Iron Maiden
9. Two Of Us - The Beatles
10. Filthy Habits - Frank Zappa

A couple of repeats but I have somewhere between half to a third of my music on an external hard drive I don't have hooked up.

Eh, Saosin's early stuff was enjoyable. Forever the Sickest Kids is crap crap crap, and I've heard of most of the others but never listened to them.

School of Seven Bells - Dust Devil
Cap'n Jazz - Theme from 90210
The Flaming Lips - Sleeping on the Roof
Aphex Twin - Hankie
I Hate Myself - Urban Barbie
Galaxie 500 - Tell Me
Fang Island - Side Swiper
Arvo Part - Seven Magnificat Antiphons, Part III
Sixteen Horsepower - Ruthie Lingle
Unwound - Terminus

This isn't actually a shuffle of my library. I don't have access to my library because it's on my laptop which I left in my apartment. Instead, this is a shuffle of all the music I downloaded this winter break onto my new computer.
