Beth Orton- Love Like Laughter
The Band- Down In The Flood
People In Planes- Penny
The Microphones- The Glow Pt. 2
Pink Floyd- Young Lust
The Microphones- My Warm Blood
Jon Foreman- In My Arms
Jens Lekman- If I Could Cry (It Would Feel Like This)
TV On The Radio- Wolf Like Me
The Mountain Goats- I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry

not a typical list for me...strange.
This is a pretty nice list, actually! The Band and Pink Floyd are always good to hear, and I'm also pretty big on Jens Lekman and The Mountain Goats.

Starsailor - Way To Fall
Rilo Kiley - The Angels Hung Around
Queen - Back Chat
Arrah and the Ferns - Tokyo, Tokyo
Emily Haines & the Soft Skeleton - Nothing & Nowhere
Phish - Wolfman's Brother
Tegan and Sara - Back In Your Head
Ingrid Michaelson - Breakable
Jesus Christ Superstar Soundtrack - Gethsemane (I Only Want To Say)
Julia Nunes - Stairwell

This is kind of an odd list to me. Yeah, it's songs I listen to frequently just...never together, really.

This is quite a neat idea for a thread....and I'm certainly bored enough! I'm in.

Of those I'm familiar with there, I hate Queen and Starsailor, sorry! Not heard any of Emily Haines solo work but like Metric a lot.

Here's mine:

Talib Kweli (feat DJ Quik) 'Put It In The Air'
Lemon Jelly '75 aka Stay With You'
Erick Sermon (feat Sy Scott) 'Battle'
Jaylib 'Strapped'
Dirty Projectors 'My Offwhite Flag'
Mudhoney 'Crooked And Wide'
Karate 'Gasoline'
The Handsome Family 'Gail With The Golden Hair'
F---ed Up 'David Comes To Life'
Calexico 'Removed'

Calexico bailed me out a bit there on the fave track thing as prior to that it was a bit of a "decent/ordinary LP track" kind of selection, no real bangers. But the Calexico is classic.

Can't say I can pinpoint that Lemon Jelly track though, not had that LP long and it's a good record for sure.

I know Talib and Handsome family.... A fan of both the rest sadly I dont know. I need to check out F--ed Up I keep seeing them posted about the forum. I am going to have to check out Calexico.... I just did a search of my collection, Got songs with Iron and Wine and Willie Nelson.

Wu-Tang Clan - Semi-Automatic: Full Rap Meta
Scott H. Biram - We Shall Be Free
Snoop Dogg - Show me Love
R. Kelly - Playa's only
Pimp C - Pourin up
Zamfir - The Lonely Sheperd (Kill Bill Soundtrack)

I recognize many of the artists but don't know the songs. Doesn't seem bad overall but with a few things I could do without. I really like Heart's Straight On.

KMFDM - Leibesleid (Infringement Mix)
The Black Dog - Bolt4
Self - Paint by Numbers
No Knife - Minus One
Mastodon - Island
Modest Mouse - Mice Eat Cheese
The Legendary Pink Dots - Hellsville
Skinny Puppy - Rivers
Gallows - Orchestra of Wolves
Faith No More - We Care a Lot

This shuffle is actually a great representation of my overall tastes. It's got industrial (Skinny Puppy being one of my favorite bands, and KMFDM used to be good as displayed by this track), electronic, metal, indie rock, 90s emo, hardcore, alternative rock/metal, and a bit of pop rock. It's missing some 60s psych/pop, prog, and classic rock though. I really like all the songs except the Modest Mouse track isn't great, and the Gallows song isn't one of their best either. For my favorite I choose No Knife because it moves me (90s emo) .

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

A solid B- I suppose. If they ever made a sequel to Clueless, half of those songs would belong on the soundtrack, especially the first few.

Second half of your shuffle: Interesting Legendary Pink Dots song. Absolutely love that FNM tune...last week, Fox News stole it. I wanted to shoot the TV.

Days Go By - Dirty Vegas
International Flight - Thievery Corporation
Corduroy - Pearl Jam
The Annoying Song - Butthole Surfers
My Sweet Lord - George Harrison
Here & Now - Letters to Cleo
Excuse Me Miss - Jay-Z
Lover, Your Should've Come Over - Jeff Buckley
Anything - SWV
Don't Lose My Number - Phil Collins

Wow, thanks. What exactly do early KMFDM and The Black Dog have to do with the movie Clueless? Or the others, for that matter. Self is rather silly alt/pop I could see fitting a movie soundtrack of that sort...but I don't see where you're coming from otherwise.

Comment on the lists above you people! Otherwise it's just people listing random songs, and that'd make a rubbish thread.
