3. Strapping Young Lad - Monument
4. Dimmu Borgir - Blessings Upon The Throne Of Tyrany

7. Howl - Asherah
8. Alabama Thunderpussy - Void Of Harmony
9. Powerman 5000 - V Is For Vampire
10. Otep - Crooked Spoons

I've heard of several of those, but the only one I've actually heard and enjoy is Mastodon.

This list comes from shuffling at home yesterday evening (I've only been listening to albums at work today). It's in reverse order because I copied it from last.fm, but I don't think that matters:

Mew – Wherever
Gescom – Megamix
Sheridan & Price – Top Ten Record
Small Faces – Rene
Neil Scrivin – The Observatory
Grandaddy – Nonphenomenal Lineage
Statistics – Hours Seemed Like Days
Prefuse 73 – The Ground We Lift
Snuff – Batten Down The Hatches
Traffic – Dealer

No real standouts to be honest. Nothing bad, I just can't think of one I really like above the others.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

I've only heard Mew, Small Faces, Grandaddy and Prefuse 73 out of the list. I like what I've heard by them except maybe Mew, because I know I've listened to them but can't remember what they sound like.

1. Crocodiles - Summer of Hate
2. Girls - Laura
3. Coco Rosie - South 2nd
4. Caribou - Eli
5. The Clean - Two Fat Sisters
6. Lizzy Mercier Descloux - Fire
7. Vashti Bunyan - Rainbow River
8. Young Man - Up So Fast
9. Karen O and The Kids - Rumpus Reprise
10. The Verlaines - Pyromaniac

If you like Mastodon, you should definitely check out Howl. You might also like Alabama Thunderpussy, but idk for sure.

They're certainly more on the dislike side than hate (and probably the least disliked of the ones, honestly). "Hate" was honestly mostly just for AC/DC, most of the rest is a more mild disliking.

I suppose I just don't often like the genre of "hard rock" in general, but especially in their case they seem to pretty much bring out all the worst of what I hate about it. To my ears pretty much everything of theirs sounds really bland and uncreative. It all seems to get a bit too similar for my liking too.

Precisely why I don't care for ACDC. I love Zeppelin though, so I could never speak poorly of Hard Rock.
