Look closely. It's not all garbage... In fact, music is probably better now then it ever was, and with the Internet it is increasingly easy the listen only to what you enjoy and ignore what you don't. You can now listen to any kind of music from anywhere, and people are not just confined to what their local record store sells or radio plays.

...of course no music existed before the record industry and pop music. This is our only outlet for music, and once that has become irrelevant...no music will ever be produced....ever again.
