I agree, a poll would be great but at the moment there isn't much common ground on what band has been the best to come out in the past ten years.

The Mars Volta and Genghis Tron are gonna be my picks.

We could try separating them into genres if we care that much

We could just nominate bands and whichever get more than 3 nominations get onto the poll.......or something like that.

Or we could just say what our favorite bands are instead of restricting ourselves by a poll. Inevitably more than one person's favorite band isn't going to be in the poll. So why bother?

Yeah, really. Polls are useless when applied to these situations.

I guess you guys make a good point, I'll change it again and keep it as the original intention of the thread, just to discuss our favorite bands form the past decade.
