Your worst band of the decade?

if someone else mentioned them it only proves my point. i'll agree, though, there were some other horrendous acts that were churned out this past decade that warrant mentioning.

Agreed, I never liked these dudes, it seemed all based on image.

Obviously this thread is based on opinion, but I just get so sad whenever someone bad mouths Green Day. People complain that there music in the 00's doesn't sound like it did in the 90's, but if they had continued to make the same album over and over again those very same people would cry about that. Either that or people are just jealous of their fame, they deserve evry ounce of that.

While I can say some of these bands have a few songs I like but....The Killers, Arcade Fire, Owl City, Snow Patrol, Buckcherry, Shinedown, Theory of a Deadman, The band who made "Hey Delila", Creed, Good Charlotte ( 00's? ), Metro Station, My Dying Fetus, Hinder, Atreyu ( ouch my poor ears! ), THE BLACK EYED PEAS!! and that band that wears the masks and kinda like raps ( not Slipknot , although they kinda suck to ).

And pretty much every rapper that started there career post Clinton era is garbo to me. Especially Southern bounce rap. Also, all that deathcore, grindcore heavy metal crap where the singer screams unintelligable lyrics on the verses, makes a poor attempt at singing the choruses, and has the drummer just abuses the double bass.

Wow it appears I dislike alot of music.

i dislike the bands R.E.M, sonic youth, and artic monkeys. Bands like that dont seem clever or catchy to me, they just shout and bang on their instruments.

There's a lot of hate towards Indie in this thread haha. Honestly, one of the worst bands in my opinion would be something like Boys like Girls. All the music I've heard from them has been cheesy as hell.
