Rammstein. Love them, can't understand. And Pitbull, lots of spanish I don't understand, my sister and I attempt to google translate it, haha. I find that if it's still something I can dance to and sing along (although I have no idea what I'm saying) I still like it.

i specifically bought a German-English dictionary to translate Rammstein's lyrics

Well the Chinese language can have a kind of intimate tip-toeing sound to it. But the romantic ballads of the last decade from the far east have come more for me from Thailand and South Korea.

And though most here may say they will listen to foreign music I bet most listen to very little of it. I've heard things from most countries, and some in detail.

For some reason some Japanese pop songs they play at a Sushi Bar near where I live sound extremely good to me! I don't have the foggiest about what's being sung but damn there are some nice vocal hooks.

I like a lot more Japanese pop than rock, though it's mainly older stuff.. The rock stuff can be very proficient but can also lack character.

Half the time, I can barely even discern English lyrics. I've gotten so used to incomprehensible lyrics that vocalists who sing with clarity seem sort of hammy and forced to me. Plus, having words you need to actively try and discern in a song adds that many more levels to the listening experience, no matter what language is used.

Definitely I would not. For me the top country songs is still the best.
