Hunky Dory is 10 times better than Ziggy Stardust.

It was a long time ago when my dad would play various old school rock bands in the car. The first band I ever got into, was Styx. After that, I went through a classic rock phase, which progressed to a modern hip-hop phase, which progressed into a heavy metal phase.

Eventually I just said **** it and started listening to everything. I attribute my interest in music to my Dad who has just as a variety in musical taste as I do.

He also had a guitar that I eventually learned how to play.

Tough question, nearly impossible for me to answer. But I am going to go with Damien Rice or Fionn Regan to be honest.

Pixies. I remember my dad showed me that best-of compilation Death to the Pixies when I was around 8/9 years old. I used to play Monkey Gone to Heaven, Tame and Debaser over and over. I had my dad get me their albums not too long after that.

I liked a lot of music before, but there was nothing I can remember that grasped me like the Pixies did.

I think it was Pink Floyd. Actually I have no idea. Even though it was only a year ago... But I do know I started with 60's and 70's rock.

Hmm, maybe Enya? I guess it depends on which genre. Taylor Swift, Josh Groban, Joshua Bell, Rascal Flatts, Imogen Heap, and Renee Fleming have greatly influenced me as well, to name a few.

Yeah Pink Floyd was the first band I started obsessively collecting their albums. Can't really listen to them now. Remind me too much of my teens.

For me, it was the White Stripes. Still like them.
When I was around eleven or so, my Mum introduced me to the world of Radiohead, Massive Attack and such. And I am grateful
