The latter earlier on (although I'd use the term Ital as opposed to Chemical).

now I'm just naturally happy.

How bout you?

I suppose The Stone Roses could be included in this thread starter although they split up. I think the brief is "Current" bands.

Cool

"Son, this newfangled music is crap. You should listen to some Classic Rock/Metal from my day like Coheed And Cambria and Black Tide." Classic Rock of this day will become... I dunno. What WILL happen with what is currently classic rock?

I probably agree with you. If they can do on their debut album what they did on Summertime! EP then they'll be big (maybe a bit too big). But i can't see them lasting more than a couple of albums. Maybe they'll be cult legends in 25 years time, who knows?

I dunno why they'd split up, their new single "Best friend" is about the lead singer imagining the guitarist (his best friend) died and wondering how he'd go on without him.

They seem like a tight enough band, but I can agree with you on the 2 album thing, I think if they made 2 albums and did split up, cult heroes in 25 years could be a possibility.

If they make 10 albums, 2 good ones and a shower of shite then I dunno.

They seem like they could be a brilliant band. The summertime EP is brilliant.

And I have to ask, what is TOO big?

I probably should rephrase that a bit lol.

What i meant was i don't wan't them to become stupidly popular like all the hyped-up bands that came along in the last decade and have their songs played to death on the radio. I'd prefer if they just stay as a cool little underground band and release a few killer albums.

Ah right, I'd rather them be successful, as long as they don't change from what they believe in. I.E Kings Of Leon.

They are already producing radio friendly music, they can't really 'sell out.' sure they're underground atm, but if they got recognition fair play to them.

But of course, I always like it when a band I've liked for a while or before many of my friend's have heard of them stays small, but if they become the next big thing, then fair play to them.

Like you said though, don't think it'd go that far. Couple of good albums, can't see them being number 1 in the charts, respectable top 20s for them.
