Really, this is boring?

you can like them, that's fine.

and you just showed me two and a half minutes of the same riff over and over again with a three power chord chorus. yes, that bores.

if i could pick one cult band to remembered, I would pick the music tapes. man, i love them. i love old obscuro like the shaggs and the silver apples. just so strange and so fun.

I have to agree with trace87 though. But it's true they'll be remembered, regardless.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

And I'm pretty sure the thread says "current bands", doesn't mean they can't be supremely average to others.

The following musicians are not representative of my opinion, just bands I think will be remembered in the next 25 years

Muse.
Regina Spektor.
Queens of the Stone Age
Paramore (i bloody hope not)
Sigur Ros (getting popular, even my Lady Gaga-listening friends are getting into them, i think they're becoming the 'it' band now.)

FML then. I'm already at the point of death whenever that awful "Fireflies" song come on...

Lady Gaga, I hope so though. I quite like her, and I was taken to one of her concerts and really enjoyed it. Shes a great performer.

Arctic Monkeys hopefully, they're always good.
