Michael Gira...when he wants has the ability to take the concept of sexuality and strip it to the bone....i think both him and Jarboe really explored these sides on their Swans era 'solo' albums

i find something amazingly sensual in Nicole Blackman's voice....she did a few songs with Alan Wilder's group Recoil....

Some eargasms may affect your whole body in an inevitable way. For instance, Tequila's Salta ("Jump", see translation here). The song is from 1981, but if it had been released in the "Internet age" the whole world would be jumping with it. I've heard it hundreds of times, but even now, if I listen to it on my ipod when I walk the streets, I can't help moving my body.

I liked the guitar work on that. It has a Ska vibe but with a twist of funk.

Talking about bopping along to headphones:


(It's worth it for the video alone)

and just another excuse to push the new Killing Joke album although I was listening to this today on my trip to town. That guitar is killer.


Loving this bassline.
