it's odd that being censored was actually the only reason they had a "hit".....for the most part the album sucks eggs....but this song is very amusing especially considering that he later started playing one on tv :)

I actually like em quite a bit, even if they get old fast

they weren't even that funny for a comedy band

and the music's dated by now

Ironically, this wasn't even his 'hit'

really? what was his hit then?

I'm pretty sure that's the only single of his that even charted.

Most golden age rap sounds dated. I don't see your point. They still weren't a one hit wonder. And I still like them.

just seyin' i don't like them, not whether they were one-hit wonders or not

no, some golden-age rap still sounds good today, Run DMC is still fresh, as is A Tribe Called Quest

Run DMC is far from fresh sounding today, not sure what rap you've been listening to post-1990.

it's pretty sparse and interspersed with bits of guitar, i don't think they sound dated at all, as opposed to something like De La Soul

erm, Eminem, Jay-Z, Wu-Tang and its offshoots, Dalek, El-P, Kanye West, Nas

No, I meant, it wasn't his song.
It was a Too Short song, which he never copyrighted, so that joker just released the same song, in the exact same style lol.
