it's odd that being censored was actually the only reason they had a "hit".....for the most part the album sucks eggs....but this song is very amusing especially considering that he later started playing one on tv :)

no, some golden-age rap still sounds good today, Run DMC is still fresh, as is A Tribe Called Quest

Run DMC is far from fresh sounding today, not sure what rap you've been listening to post-1990.

it's pretty sparse and interspersed with bits of guitar, i don't think they sound dated at all, as opposed to something like De La Soul
