^ Thanks, Raime! Now I see why that is a great photo to add to this thread.

I wonder how many pics are out there of musicians being hassled by authorities? Here's an old fave of mine that shows John Lennon as a regular stand up guy trying to protect his girlfriend. I used to think, Wow, look at the police harrassing John and Yoko, but on mature reflection, I guess the cops in the picture are mainly trying to protect J&Y from the paparazzi:-

Two threads get merged when they are both on the same topic, right?

If so, I'd like to make a case for merging this thread, "Favourite Musician Photos" with another thread I just rediscovered:-

https://www.musicbanter.com/general-...musicians.html : "Your Favourite Photographs of Musicians"

Anyone else notice a thematic commonality between the two threads ? Mind you, if any Mod does merge them, we'll have a real mega-thread of photos on our hands as both are pretty long already.

Makes sense. An aye from I.

How about a gif of Patti Smith and Morrissey hugging it out?

And begging you not to go to Dracula's castle. Cause he has enough blow to hold you over.

@ ribbons

Good stuff! Love Eno. Own his entire discography including his stint with Roxy Music. He's quite simply a legend in my humble opinion.

And now for the photo.

John Lennon being fed birthday cake by Claudette Orbison while her husband Roy, son Roy Jr. (foreground) and Ringo Starr look on. It was Roy's 28th birthday and a party was thrown in London, 23 April 1964. (Photo by Daily Mirror/Mirrorpix/Mirrorpix via Getty Images)
