I remember reading somewhere that the prick from Nickelback was booked to record a live session for Radio 1. When he turned up to record it he suddenly announced that he wouldn't be doing it because he 'didn't do singing before midday'.

I was going to nominate him for being an asshole but then I realised by refusing to perform he was actually doing everybody a favour.

The Clash did basically the same thing in the 70's.

They went to record a Peel session and then pulled out because they didn't think the sound quality was good enough. Peel was pissed because he was the first to play The 101'ers and never invited them back.
