I like people who sound good, I don't care if they have testicles or ovaries.

I'm picky when it comes to vocals but a LOT of Trance (90% +) if it has vocals, will be a woman's. Probably because it fits the music. Of course, there are songs where the vocals are horrendous but that doesn't happen too often.

Agreed...it just so happens that most women don't sound good to me. :p: It's not a sexist thing at all.

Distillers
Hole
Veruca Salt
Breeders
Liz Phair
Elastica
Mazzy Star - UGH..so hot.

I have nothing against any of those and would happily listen to them on occasion. Particularly Veruca Salt's American Thighs is a great album, one of the few female-fronted albums I own.

A woman's voice is a major turn on for me.
I guess that has something to do with it.

same here...this is the main reason i think i enjoy little dragon so much. her voice is sooo sexy and addictive. in fact, most of the bands i have really been enjoying recently have female singers. beach house, school of seven bells, asobi seksu, camera obscura, metric....all awesome.

and hope sandoval's voice IS ****ing hot.

I don't know why, but I have a thing for bands with high pitched male vocals.
About half of my favorite bands have the vice grip on the crotch sound going on.

Likewise, it just so happens that the majority of the ones with ovaries don't agree with the way my ears receive sound waves.

American Thighs is a great album...100% agree. What did you think of the Breeders album - Last Splash?
