Default It's Parody Week. Share Your Favourites!

Hey guys

Every monday is the start of another theme week on MB these days, so without further ado, parody week! Many artists have parodied styles, genres or even specific artists. Now's the time to appreciate their efforts.

Let's see some parodies!

I quite like the norwegian duo Erlend & Steinjo who have produced a whole lot of music and movie parodies, most of it without much of a budget. Here's one of their videos which parodies norwegian metal (at least the setting reminds me of Immortal) and perhaps more specifically irish guitar hero Gary Moore!

Haha, and I have to include this norwegian Bee Gees parody from 1980 by Trond-Viggo Torgersen

I imagine he would get hate here, but I think he's got some pretty funny parodies. Such as "Smells Like Nirvana"

Well here's a less well-known one of his videos. It doesn't parody a specific songs but rather the whole dumb "glam metal bands getting serious with acoustic guitars in black and white videos" thing that happened in the early 90s (see Extreme, Mr. Big and Poison for examples).
